Traditional uses for Narcissus Absolute include -
Also known as Pheasant's Eye Narcissus, it is a widely recognised aroma used in high end perfumes and is added to products to achieve a luxurious finish.
A soothing and relaxing Absolute - it can be burnt to help calm nerves and reduce anxiety by promoting the release of negative emotions.
Narcissus has an impressive antimicrobial and antioxidant index, making it great for skincare preparations for oily, spotty and compacted skins. It is also deeply nourishing for dry mature and sun damaged skins, and a little of this useful and deeply fragrant Absolute goes a long way.
With notable anti-inflammatory qualities it is used in massage to soothe muscular aches & pains, and is effective for stiff joints & arthritic conditions. It can also assist in minor pain relief as it has gentle analgesic qualities.
Narcissus Absolute is also widely used as an aphrodisiac - with qualities which increase sexual desire.
