Black Cardamom is taken from the fragrant seeds of the perennial herbaceous plant Amomum sublatum, also known as Greater Cardamom.
The dark brown/black dried outer seed pod covers the aromatic seeds inside.
The seeds are small, dark brown/black in colour and have an intense, complex aroma and it is these seeds from which the rare and precious Black Cardamom Essential Oil is taken.
As Black Cardamom is a rare product and is difficult to source we can currently only offer it for sale in 1ml and 5ml sizes.
Black Cardamom has a most impressive anti-oxidant index.
When used regularly in skincare preparations it helps scavange free-radicals, which in turn help keep the skin look youthful, healthy and fresh.
